| Director for 11 years. Replaced the founder CEO in April 1992 while retaining a Board seat. Provided focus and direction while keeping the senior management in place. Results included a cleaning out of past sins related to poor acquisitions by the previous CEO, a return to sustained operating profit after two straight loss years, significant reduction in debt, and an increase in the market value of the stock of over 60%. The president was elected CEO in January 1993. | |
| 1990- 1992 | President and COO, American International Devices, a $15 million manufacturer and marketer of Memory systems. |
| Worked for a 100% owner who entrusted me with the operation of the company. Moved the company into new products after two years of significant profit in a dying market for a one-product company. The company survived, and the bank debt was reduced to zero. Owner is carrying on with the transition. | |

Responsible for the profit and loss of the company's Retail Point of Sale and Banking Systems products. Required working closely with Fujitsu to define enhancements and new products to serve the retail and banking markets. |

CS&S Electronics Group TRW, Inc. Responsible for computer related Systems in the Retail Point of Sale and Banking Markets with sales over $85 Million. Put in charge to improve weak performing division. Resulted in a merger with Fujitsu of Japan. |

Operated from Italy in a dual role including Managing Director for Mial, a company with factories and offices in Brazil, Germany, France, Switzerland and Italy. Working with US Divisions, eliminated division overhead costs and implemented a plan to assign, by related product, the international product responsibility to the US operating divisions. |

Responsible for expanding products and markets beyond ferrite memory cores (the company's original bread and butter product) into computer systems, peripherals and supplies. |

Hong Kong. Starting an assembly plant in Hong Kong for memory core stringing. Sent to Hong Kong alone to do all activities for start up and able to ship product back in 90 days. Increased operation to 500 people and into systems assembly while there. |

Build a direct sales/manufacturing representative organization that influenced company to move into commercial market, resulting in booking 80% of total sales and a ratio of 2 to 1 commercial/military in final year. |
